We first met SPL Electronics several years ago. The first exposure to the line of products was the "Transient Designer" which turned out to be one of the most radical pieces of equipment to find it's way into a recording studio in ages. Our first use of the Transient Designer was on drums. It could make them longer, shorter, put a front end on where there was none, and suck a note out after some idiot tuned the things like an Eagles record. It was amazing!! Then we started trying the thing in different applications... in "parallel" applications on bass, even vocals. Again, amazing.

From there we started to check out some of SPL's other goodies and so far, everything we've touched that SPL has produced has been of the finest quality.
