Given the right singer, the Royer also functions very nicely as a vocal mic, and depending on the kind of drum tone you require, we've found it to work exceptionally well on drums. Best of all, they don't blow up...lord knows we've tried!! And if you can manage to blow one up, the first replacement head is on the house...
