The Portico 5016 Mic Pre/Variable Phase DI, is a two channel module comprised of a mic pre and an active DI designed to be utilized in the control room or out on the cutting room floor.The mic pre channel is identical to the 5012 and 5032 modules. The all new active DI channel features selectable line or Hi-Z inputs and Variable Phase that can be utilized to align the phase between mic and DI signals on basses or guitars. Custom designed transformers couple the inputs and outputs, naturally minimizing ground hums.
