Musicians for Minneapolis Benefit Album



On August 1, 2007, the I-35W bridge over the Mississippi River in Minneapolis collapsed, killing 13 people and injuring 145.

This 3-disc compilation album is dedicated to the survivors and victims of the collapse, to their friends & families, and to the rescue teams and volunteers. Featured on this album are both released and unreleased tracks from artists such as Sparklehorse, Los Lobos, Calexico, Howe Gelb, Simple Kid, DJ Spooky, Les Claypool, Bobby Bare Jr., Lee Scratch Perry, George Clinton, Joe Bonamassa, Steve Vai, and more. Proceeds go to the Minnesota Helps: Bridge Disaster Fund.
