One of the microphones built by Josephson Engineering on a "custom order" basis the C-700A is very possibly the most unique microphone on the market today. The mic features two capsules which can be recorded separately or used in tandem in varying degrees to achieve different polar patterns for the mic. There is really no way to describe the sound and versatility with the written word... suffice it to say that the mic sounds drop dead gorgeous on vocals and a plethora of other sound sources.
Josephson C700A features
The capsule assembly in the Series Seven is internally shock mounted, so that the mic may be attached directly to a stand through its yoke mount without any external accessories.

The basic C700A includes two capsules in one housing, a 16mm pressure element similar to the KA11N capsule in the Series Six, and a 26mm gradient capsule. Completely neutral electronics, using the same circuit found in the Series Six, are provided for each signals.
