Inspired by classic audio amplification, and (quite obviously) completely ignoring “modern manufacturing” and the “rules of digital transparency”, the DA8-V is the best thing that ever happened to our computer. While it is not built as an effect, it ain’t all that subtle. Equally suited for mixing stems, or just re-recording tracks/virtual instruments/plug-in reverbs that need a life-injection.

Separate digital and tube-rectified analog power supplies are included. Being one of JCF Audio’s “custom shop” devices, there is a wee bit of a lead-time upon ordering. Nothing to cry over, though.
