Comprised of an ME-1NV and an EQ-1NV this channel strip offers options unlike any other unit. When used as a microphone signal path the user goes through the ME-1NV's input section, through the equalizer, and then the option to employ the ME-1NV's transformer balanced output or the EQ-1NV's high headroom transformerless output. The two sounds are quite different giving the user the ultimate in sonic options for their music. When used in "line in" the user has the choice of input levels to the equalizer [which can often net some very cool distortions] or you can use the input from the ME-1NV. The output can also be run through the mic pre's transformer balanced output or the EQ-1NV's transformerless output. The input transformer on the EQ sounds considerably different from the mic-pre's input transformer which again nets the user an exceptionally wide selection of tonal textures with which they can paint their music. All this in one rack space, and because the pre and the EQ are connected via their respective patch points other units can be employed in the signal path should the user want to get really crazy.
