Shortly after the Great River EQ-2NV was released we started to get calls from mastering engineers who wanted the great Great River sound in their facilities. When the EQ-2NV was going through its initial development we found two different input transformers... one that was smooth as silk on program material and one that had a bit more "bite" for work on individual tracks during the recording or mixing phase of the project. Needless to say the MAQ-2NV features the input transformer that is "smooth as silk". With full detents on all controls, linkable "Q" switching and gain controls that work in 1/2 db increments the MAQ-2NV is a very powerful mastering tool that can stand proud next to the most expensive mastering EQ's on the planet.
