The UM930 is a dual-capsule, multipattern extension and rethinking of Gefell’s M930. It offers a “sparkle” and “air” that rivals some of the best mics on the planet, with an otherwise transparent pickup. At greater distances, when the high frequencies balance out a little, it often sounds as if there is no microphone in the room. Being dead-quiet and with remarkable resolution, it sets a new benchmark for utility condenser microphones, one that can literally be deployed everywhere with great success.
