The Focal Twin 6 Be monitor utilizes two 6.5inch drivers for the lows, with only one of the drivers producing low-mid information. This provides the listener with more accurate low end information, while maintaining a smooth mid range and clear top end. The Focal beryllium tweeter gives this speaker a wide sweet spot so the listener can make critical decisions even when you aren’t in the sweet spot. This lets you make better decision in less amount of time, letting you concentrate on the sounds rather than figuring out what your ears are hearing.

The Twin6 Be is an active, 3 way, professional nearfield/midfield speaker (3 built-in amplifiers - 2x150 +100W rms), comprised of two 6.5 inch (16.5cm) "W" cone sandwich composite drivers, loaded by two large section laminar bass ports and a Focal inverted dome pure Beryllium tweeter.

Both 6.5" drivers handle low frequencies but only one of the two (selectable) is passing lo-mid frequencies.
