Power is available as either 48V phantom powering or as other optional configurations including 130V for the B&K line of mics. With the optional EAR matching transformer ribbon microphones can also be accommodated. Gain is switchable from 16dB to 60dB in 4 dB steps (2 dB steps available as an option) to cover all applications.

Onboard M/S decoding can be provided as a custom order. Output is balanced via a wideband transformer with impedance suitable for driving long lengths of high-grade cable.

This amplifier enables the user to extract the maximum from any microphone with the minimum of signal degradation. A fully thought out product rather than an afterthought as often provided by microphone manufacturers, it applies the same expertise in audio amplifiers as has made the EAR power amplifiers famous.
