The TB4 MKII is designed to be the control room and the communication module all in one. The control room signal path is completely passive. No active electronics to add noise or color the audio signal. A four ganged stepped attenuator, that tracks to .05db, is used for level control and insures a stereo image at any monitoring level. There are four balanced stereo inputs and two balanced stereo outputs for alternate speakers all on XLR connectors.

The TB4 MKII cue section has its own master level control and a switch to select either the control room signal or a separate stereo cue mix. The engineers headphone, accessible from the front panel, also has a level control and select switch for either control room signal or cue mix. The stereo cue inputs and outputs are balanced on TRS 1/4" jacks.

The talkback switch dims the control room signal and the talkback level controls the amount of signal going to the cue mix. The talkback mic is included and accessible from the front panel with a 12 foot cable. There is a mini jack on the rear panel to add a remote talkback switch.
