Coleman Audio AB 5.1 Two Source 5.1 Switcher





Just as stereo mixes should be monitored through different sets of speakers to compensate for different environments, surround mixes should as well. This simple 1RU box from Coleman Audio will allow you to switch a single source to two different sets of 5.1 speakers or allow you to compare two 5.1 mixes through one set of 5.1 speakers. The A/B 5.1 is passive, you will not be able to make volume changes at the switcher.

Coleman Audio AB 5.1 features
Provides precision 5.1 Surround switching for source comparison or alternate speaker selection. The unit provides completely passive relay switching for up to three, six-channel surround paths. The unit can be configured with one input and two outputs as a speaker selector, or two inputs to one output for source comparison. Interconnect with the Coleman Audio SR5.1 MK2
  • Twelve balanced inputs on TRS jacks
  • Six balanced outputs on TRS jacks
  • Remote switching
  • Completely passive switching
  • Can be used Bi-directionally as a source select or speaker select
