Chandler grew from the demand for the classic equipment from the previous generation. Based on vintage Neve® and EMI® designs, Chandler pays strict attention to detail to bring you not only faithful recreations, but recreations that sound good. There are more than a few companies that have pulled out the shovel and dug up some of the older designs, but many of them have cut a corner or two. Where other firms have gone to a single circuit board, and often replot the designs (circuit board layout is critical to achieve the desired tone), Chandler equipment is hand wired, and remains true to the original circuit board layout, netting the user the real classic tone and texture. On some of the units, Chandler has taken an amalgam of features and incorporated them to one design, the net result to the user is a classic tone, coupled with features that facilitate modern techniques and requirements.

All prices include the power supply which other shops [the ones with prices lower than Mercenary's] make you purchase as a separate item. Unless you're pretty handy and have 24 and 48 vdc floating around your studio, you're going to need the power supply. We're kinda lazy at Mercenary Audio, so rather than giving you the "absolute lowest price" then having to call you to remind you that you need to pony up additional cash for the power supply, we just include it in the price from the get-go. This saves everyone a time. If you really want a Chandler unit without the power supply, we can do that...

WARRANTY INFORMATION: Chandler Limited products purchased prior to Jan 01, 2009 carried a 2 year manufacturer's warranty which we doubled to 4 years. Items purchased on or after Jan 01, 2009 carry a 1 year manufacturer's warranty which we double to 2 years.
