The Apogee Rosetta 800 is an eight channel converter that has totally independent A to D and D to A sections. Balanced analog inputs are converted to AES and ADAT digital outs, and vice-versa. Firewire for Connectivity > Rosetta 800 has room for expansion. With the optional X-Series Firewire card installed, you'll be able to connect the Rosetta 800 natively to any Firewire input device, without the need for additional hardware.
