The “Liminator” is a Class-A, opto-limiter with a nice middle-ground of control, smooth (but not boring or lifeless) compression, and the wonderful sonic benefits of great transformers!
Boil the input with level to take advantage of the switchable transformers. Go from the big and open sound of the Jensen tranny to the plump, harmonic saturation of the Sowter at the flick of a switch.
